Imperial Graphics

IG is a design studio based in Mumbai, India. We specialize in graphic design and print which makes a brand visible on all levels. IG develops all activities that support clients in building and maintaining an effective and consistent brand image. Since we first started, we have worked for clients ranging from heavy industry to high fashion.

At IG we have developed integrated communication strategies and designed branded items. This relies on close co-operation with our clients, to ensure that all items, whatever the scale, meet the clients' expectations. We ensure that the level of quality remains the same, and all items relate to the original concept.

We have a setup that enables us to complete projects in the areas of graphic design, print and implementation. We have a network of partners who also assist in packaging, architecture, interior design, retail and others. What's important is that all these elements have the same point of origin based on your strategy. This working method allows us to work for a wide variety of clients.

Depending on the scale of the project, meetings / workshops are held to visualise the core values and offerings of the project. These key messages form the core of the concept. This is the origin to which all future material relates. It defines the tone of voice for copy-writers, to the construction materials and design ideas to work around.

Proposals are presented, along with print or material samples, colour schemes and alternative solutions. A process of development and feedback leads to improvements in the design and closer involvement for clients. Your reputation is our reputation, and we take care to check the quality of the work that is produced, attend production meetings and generally keep things running smoothly.

"The proof of the pudding is in the eating". Visits and samples of our work can be arranged, and it may also be helpful to talk to one of our clients who have completed a project of similar scale. Our goal is to make the design process as smooth as possible, with strong client involvement, to make things on time and on budget of which everybody involved can feel proud. Above all, we aim for long term relationships, and a great quality of life.

How it all began

Bombay Times 9th Anniversary Issue. We were blessed with the opportunity to design the cover pages of this special anniversary issue of BT . For 9 consecutive days we had designed the cover pages based on 9 planets of the solar system, in co-ordination with ace photographer Sumeet Chopra and Gauri Singh from BT. The best designers from around the country were involved in dressing up India's top models. Some of the most prestigious landmark hotels opened their doors to let us shoot. Involvement right from the conception to the final execution gave us that winning edge over all. The end was sweet- we got a superb response! And from there, there was no looking back.

The Push ... and the road ahead.

If nothing looks like it always has, it's because we're in middle of a design revolution.
We believe every business needs design. Every business is run with a creative thought behind every effort. In today's fast moving world integration of various processes are necessary. Co-relation of various processes and the understanding in between is the key to a well-produced final product.

We have always believed that this is the way to go. By adding on to a design section to our existing printing setup we have increased our possibilities and complimented our customers with a one-stop shop, complete with ideation, communication, strategic planning and implementation.
